EagleCloud — Privacy Policy

Summary

EagleCloud collects no data of its own. With your explicit consent, given through Google's own OAuth sign-in prompt, it reads your Google Cloud resource metadata directly from Google's APIs into your browser and displays it in the extension's side panel. There is no server behind EagleCloud, nothing is kept beyond your current browser session, and nothing is ever transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Who we are

This policy explains how the EagleCloud Chrome extension, published by Dollar Digital, LLC ("Dollar Digital," "we," "us," or "our"), a company organized in California, handles information. It supplements our website Privacy Policy, which covers the dollardigital.us site.

What EagleCloud does

EagleCloud displays your active Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources — Compute Engine instances, GKE clusters, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI endpoints, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and more — in one consolidated view, grouped by project, so you don't have to click through each project and region separately.

What data it accesses

With your explicit consent via Google's OAuth sign-in prompt, EagleCloud requests read-only access to your Google Cloud resource metadata through Google's own APIs (Cloud Resource Manager, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, and Cloud Asset Inventory). This includes project IDs and names, and metadata about the resources within those projects — names, status, zone or region, machine type, and similar descriptive fields.

What we do with that data

• All data is fetched directly from Google's APIs to your own browser and shown only in the extension's side panel, on your own device.
• We do not transmit, sell, or share this data with any third party or any server we operate. There is no backend server at all — everything happens client-side, directly between your browser and Google's APIs.
• No data is persisted beyond the current browser session; closing the side panel clears it.

What EagleCloud does not do

• It never modifies, creates, or deletes any Google Cloud resource — it only reads and lists data.
• It does not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any Google product outside of Google Cloud Platform resource metadata.

Revoking access

You can revoke EagleCloud's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Third parties

EagleCloud contains no third-party software development kits, advertising libraries, or analytics services. No information is shared with anyone, because none is collected or stored by us.

Children's privacy

EagleCloud is a developer tool not directed at children, and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
