VS Code Extension
Paste Image to Folder
LiveRight-click any folder in the Explorer, and whatever's on your clipboard — a Win+Shift+S snip, a copied image — saves straight into it. No Save As dialog, no picking a location by hand.
Windows only. Read the privacy policy.
Why it exists
One right-click instead of a whole detour
Right-click, done
Take a snip, right-click the destination folder in the Explorer, click "Paste Image from Clipboard" — no Snipping Tool "Save As" flow, no navigating a file picker to where you already are.
Auto-names by default
Saves immediately with a generated timestamp file name. Want to type your own name each time instead? One setting turns the naming prompt back on.
Nothing to configure
No account, no cloud storage, no sync. It reads the Windows clipboard and writes a PNG to the folder you clicked — that's the entire extension.
