Right-Click Duplicate — Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Summary
Right-Click Duplicate collects no data of any kind. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no network activity, and no server component at all. The extension copies a file you select to a new file in the same folder, entirely on your own machine.
Who we are
This policy explains how the Right-Click Duplicate VS Code extension, published by Dollar Digital, LLC ("Dollar Digital," "we," "us," or "our"), a company organized in California, handles information. It supplements our website Privacy Policy, which covers the dollardigital.us site.
Information we collect
None. The extension makes no network requests of any kind, so there is nothing for us to receive, store, or see — including the names or contents of any file you duplicate.
How it works
When you run "Duplicate" on a file (or a multi-file selection), the extension copies each file to a new file in the same folder, using an automatically incremented name. Everything happens on your own device; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Permissions
The extension only interacts with your local file system, which is required to do the one thing it does — read a file and write a copy of it. It requests no other capability.
Third parties
The extension contains no third-party SDKs, advertising libraries, or analytics services. No information is shared with anyone, because none is collected.
Children's privacy
The extension is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
