WOW — Privacy Policy

Summary

WOW ("WOW," "we," "us," or "our") collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking of you. We count page opens as plain totals — no cookie, no IP address, no identifier — purely to see how much it is used. WOW has no database of its own — it works entirely by sending your trip details to a small set of third-party services (listed below) to compute a route and look up weather, and nothing you enter is stored on our servers afterward.

Who we are

This policy explains how WOW, on the web, iOS, and Android, published by Dollar Digital, LLC ("Dollar Digital"), a company organized in California, handles information. It supplements our website Privacy Policy, which covers the dollardigital.us site.

What you enter, and where it goes

WOW works two ways, and each sends your input to different services to do its job:

• Road trip mode — the start and end points you enter are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim (place lookup) and OSRM (routing) services, and the resulting coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo for weather.
• Itinerary mode — the text you paste (a flight confirmation, directions, or trip plan) is sent to Google's Gemini API to extract the stops, dates, and times. Avoid pasting more than you need to (e.g. full names or payment details aren't necessary for weather lookup).

None of this is sent to Dollar Digital's own servers for storage — our backend passes itinerary text through to Gemini and returns the result, without logging or retaining it. Information stored on your device

WOW's app files (so it can be installed and opened like an app) are cached on your device using standard browser/app storage. Your trip details are not saved between visits — nothing persists once you close the app.

Third parties

WOW uses OpenStreetMap (Nominatim, OSRM, and map tiles), Open-Meteo, and Google's Gemini API to do its work, as described above. It contains no advertising libraries of any kind and uses no third-party analytics service — the page-open counts described above are our own.

Children's privacy

WOW is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
